Medical Nanotechnology in Cancer Therapy
Only by utilising the properties of nanomaterials may cancer therapy using nanotechnology advance beyond drug delivery into the creation of novel therapies. Nanoparticles are large enough to contain numerous tiny molecules of various sorts, yet being small in comparison to cells. With the help of nanotechnology, cancer tumours may be removed with minimal harm to surrounding tissue and organs, and cancer-causing cells may be found and destroyed before they cause tumours. The primary method of treatment is chemotherapy, which produces the tumor-killing substance tumour necrosis factor alpha.
